Installtion of the 4th treatment tank at A&J Scott’s main sawmill site at Wooperton in Northumberland is now nearing completion in readiness for the spring fencing season.
The tank will increase the company’s treatmenty capacity at the site to over 2,000m3 per week, complementing recent increases in production output acheived through the company’s investments in new and improved production facilities over recent years.
With the tank in place and the building housing it completed, work is now ongoing with Lonza to configure the tank controls and commission the tank. Good timing as the site emerges from last week’s big freeze!
Our pictures show the foundation being completed, the tank being lifted into place and the building around it taking shape, as well as Lonza’s treatment control panel during configuration.
